Appreciation Dinner - Monday, December 6th
So we can acknowledge the loyalty, work and faith of so many in our parish, we will provide an appreciation dinner for all leaders on Monday, December 6th beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Their efforts are recognized and appreciated.  So many give exemplary service to our church and school.  They spread the light of Christ.  They make God’s love present by their good works.  We thank you for your service and we encourage you to keep it up.  Be faithful to building the kingdom of God by your faith at work.  Your example moves others to do good.  You inspire generosity in them.  Your faith shows forth.  You deserve our recognition and our gratitude.  We can only recognize you in a small way.  But for all the leaders and all who help in any way:  Thank you very much!!

"Grace is Greater Than Race"
The 11th Annual “Grace is Greater Than Race” Unity Service will be held today at 6:00 p.m., at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 217 3rd Street.  This is a time for Christians to come together across racial and denominational lines to celebrate their unity in Christ.  You are invited to participate in this service and make a difference for good in our community.  Guest speakers are from Jackson.

    Development Director
The Finance Committee and the School Advisory Council would like to hire a Development Director.  Good salary and benefits are assured.  Salary depends on experience.  We would like to start the hiring by December 1st.  If interested, or you know someone who would be good, call Dick Clark at 335-5251.

“When I love well, let me not say God is in my heart, let me say I’m in the heart of God.”

“The purpose of the Holy Hour is to encourage a deep personal encounter with Christ. The holy and glorious God is constantly inviting us to come to Him, to hold converse with Him, to ask for such things as we need, and to experience what a blessing there is in fellowship with Him.”
(Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen)
